Heading the clinical neurology awareness programme for community physicians at VIMHANS. Teacher for the National Board of Examination for Neurology and Medicine. Advisor to Government of Bihar fro New Health Initiatives and Chairman of the committee to develop Super Specialty Hospital in Bihar.

Dr. P. Dasgupta, former Drug Controller General of India (from year 1993 to 2000) has more than 20 years of rich experience in Pharmacology and Therapeutics. He has been associated with many projects internationally and bilaterally and currently working as Chief executive advisor of CC research India Pvt. Ltd., and advising on a number of assignments namely advising on regulatory requirements for IND & NDA, PMS, management and audit of clinical trials, management of inspection of manufacturing units and drug testing labs, Quality Control of herbal medicines approval of new drugs, Good clinical practices (GCP) and GMP.
